Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool put in a dominant performance as they claimed a resounding 6-1 win over Sparta Praha in the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie. Despite holding a comfortable 5-1 lead from the first leg and having an upcoming FA Cup tie with Manchester United, Klopp chose to field a strong squad, including Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai. The match opened early when Nunez scored within seven minutes of an assist from Szoboszlai. Sparta Praha’s poor defensive condition continued when Bobby Clark took advantage of sloppy play to extend Liverpool’s lead just a few minutes later. Salah got involved in the scoring, scoring his 20th goal of the season to make it 3-0 within the first 10 minutes. Cody Gakpo added to Sparta Prague’s misery by scoring the fourth goal in the 14th minute with an assist from Salah.
Although Sparta Praha pulled a goal back before halftime through Veljko Birmancevic, Liverpool’s momentum remained intact. Szoboszlai scored another goal early in the second half, and Gakpo’s shot into the net made it 6-1 after just 55 minutes, as substitute Harvey Elliott failed to score. The match ended with Liverpool winning convincingly and progressing to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

a serious threаt the entire game due to his speed, passing, and placement. took his goal nicely, but he wasted a few excellent opportunities, as is typical of the Uruguayan. departed at the half.

The goalie had an easy night with just one stop to make.

Another relaxed performance at centre back, showcasing his accurate game reading.
