We know you’ve already picked on your next automobile, but if you’re still unsure, we’ve compiled a list below so that your teammates will blink when you roll into practice.
What are the Hungarian player’s thoughts on cars?
Dominik Szoboszlai told the sports website The Athletic that he like vehicles, and his father had one restriction for his car purchases: he had to accomplish something first. So when he moved to Leipzig, he was able to purchase a vehicle. He’ll be able to acquire one now that he’s in Liverpool. The Hungarian footballer has already determined what it will be, but for the time being, it remains a secret.
Dominik previously told Forbes magazine that his former Leipzig colleagues are more “watch people,” which means they prefer pricey timepieces. He singled out Emil Forsberg, the Swedish RB Leipzig player who enjoys fancy watches and vehicles. “He has a Lamborghini, whereas the others drive basic cars. Of course, at this level, an AMG Mercedes is considered commonplace.”
Advice from Vezess to Dominik Szoboszlai
Szoboszlai’s income is believed to be 150,000 pounds per week (about 65 million forints), which equates to nearly 3.4 billion forints yearly, thus we chose automobiles for him based on this and his excellence. Vehicles that, in terms of performance and luxury, match the level at which the Hungarian footballer belongs in the world of football.
Mercedes-Maybach S680, Virgil Abloh Edition
Only 150 of this car, designed by Virgil Abloh, a world-renowned designer and former creative director of Louis Vuitton, were built. The specialist died in 2021, aged 41, following a protracted illness, thus this car is truly unique. Virgil Abloh became the first African-American to be the artistic director of a French luxury fashion business, and Time magazine named him one of the world’s 100 most influential people in 2018.
The car equipped with a V12 engine, 612 horsepower and roughly HUF 150 million comes with a wooden box wrapped in sand-colored tan leather: it contains a 1:18 scale model of the limousine, two starter keys and a carabiner.
Lamborghini Countach from The Wolf of Wall Street
We recently wrote about the very rare white Lamborghini Countach of one of the stars of The Wolf of Wall Street going under the hammer in December . Auction house RM Sotheby’s is auctioning the car in New York, one of 12 US-spec examples that were delivered in Bianco Polo over Bianco, i.e. white inside and out. Two 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary editions were used in the film, and one was smashed, really!
This is the fastest version of the Countach: its 5.2-liter V12 engine has already gotten electronic injection, produces 450 horsepower, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, and has a top speed of 295 km/h. According to predictions, the ultimate bid will range between 1-2 million dollars (350-700 million forints).
Brabus P.900 Rocket Edition
It is modelled on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, which Dominik is already familiar with. The type manufactured by the German tuning business combines the large pick-up body of the 800 Adventure XLP with the “smooth” 900 Rocket drivetrain. This is how the flat, planted, black beast was created. It is powered by a V8 4.5-liter twin turbo engine with 900 horsepower and 1055 Nm of torque, all-wheel drive, and a nine-speed automated gearbox.
This power drives the body of the 2,790-kilogram bohemian to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h. To stop such a load, adequate brakes are required; the 900 Rocket Edition has 400 millimetre disc brakes in the front and 370 millimetres in the rear.
Brabus is manufacturing ten units at a total cost of HUF 264 million. The training equipment and a dozen balls fit easily onto the platform.
McLaren 750S Spectrum Theme.
Thanks to McLaren’s newly developed painting process, the 750S now boasts a painting that is not only stunning, but also completely distinctive. The Spectrum Theme, often known as the colour image theme, ranges from the nose to the back in seven tones and is currently only available for the brand’s lightest, strongest series model. According to the inventors, the steady change in tones produces the sensation of speed even when stationary, which is good given that we’re talking about a car with 750 horsepower that speeds to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 332 km/h.
The McLaren 750S costs HUF 110 million, but not with this paint job. The markup is unknown, although it is estimated to be in the millions.
Mercedes-Benz G500 Final Edition.
Another G-class, if Dominik is the clingy type. Which would not be surprising, since the classic cube is not only a popular vehicle of the Hungarian elite, but also very popular with soccer players worldwide. It’s fine so far, but a standard G500 is nothing special in these circles, therefore the Final Edition is preferable.
On the 30th anniversary of the 500 GE, Mercedes honours the music of the eight-cylinder with a final edition: the G500 Final Edition series, as the biturbo V8 departs the series. The paintwork (obsidian black, opal white, or olive green – 500 of each colour are produced), the Manufaktur leather package that covers almost every surface of the passenger compartment and trunk, the spectacular Final Edition inscription that appears at several points, and the text Stronger Than Time, which can be read projected on the ground or on the indoor tarpaulin, are what distinguish the anniversary editions.
The G500 Final Edition can also be acquired in Hungary for a price of 91.6 million.
Pininfarina Battista.
After the gas guzzlers, we recommend an electric vehicle. Obviously, this is a speciality. Only 150 copies of the 1,900-horsepower hyper sports vehicle will be made, and they will be built by ten people over ten weeks, totaling approximately 1,250 labour hours, not including the multi-week painting/polishing process.
The Battista is powered by four electric motors and is expected to have a range of around 500 km. It generates a combined torque of 2,300 Nm; according to official numbers, it accelerates to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and 300 km/h in 12 seconds. Its maximum speed is 350 km/h. It is priced at more than $2 million, or HUF 768 million.
