Rasmus Hojlund’s 10-year-old letter demonstrates his unwavering desire to play for Manchester United

RASMUS HOJLUND is the latest footballer to reveal that his childhood desire was to play for Manchester United.

But the Red Devils’ new £72 million striker has the evidence to back it up!

Rasmus Hojlund penned a note stating that his dream was to play for Manchester United when he was ten.

The note Rasmus Hojlund wrote.

Hojlund, 20, unveiled a note he penned as a ten-year-old for a school project outlining his two football goals.

Only a decade later, both have come true, a genuine triumph for the ‘winning child’ who inspires the committed Dane to keep growing.

Holland showed TV2 Sport a note he wrote ten years ago: “My goal is to play for the Danish national team and Manchester United.”

Part one of his dream became a reality in September when he earned his first of six senior caps.hojlund-giai-cau-thu-tre-1703262260.jpg

The second part was completed last week when United held off PSG’s last-minute interest in completing his transfer from Atalanta.

Hojlund told his own country’s television station, “It’s about dreaming big and daring to dream big.” Otherwise, you will not achieve your goals.

“It’s unusual to receive everything in one bundle, but everything has just come together with me and Manchester United. It is a fantastic match.

“The club is currently going through a process, and I am really interested in being a part of it.

Rasmus Hojlund is in training with Manchester United but might miss the opening two Premier League matches.

Last Saturday, the forward was introduced to fans at Old Trafford. He expressed his desire to grow with the club and win many titles together.

The Copenhagen-born hitman also tweeted a photo of the student with his younger brothers, Emil and Oscar, dressed in United jerseys.

Rasmus wore a black shirt, whereas his siblings dressed in red.

He stated that his love for United began when he was “very small”.

Hojlund went on to say, “I believe Rasmus at ten would be “buzzing,” as they say in England.

“(He) set himself a goal, so that’s what I’ve gone after.”

Hojlund will, however, miss United’s opening two games due to a pre-season injury sustained with Atalanta.

And he could be sidelined for longer due to claims he has a back ailment that requires rest to fully recuperate.
