He couldn’t resist going out with his loved ones during the weekend.

De Gea was joined by his wife Edurne, 38, and daughter Yanay, 3, as he rode in all black.

Edurne pedaled her own route as De Gea carried Yanay in a child seat.

And the trio paused to take a lovely photo, with each member of the De Gea family beaming warmly for the camera.

It remains to be seen whether De Gea signs with a new club before the end of the season.

He joined Atletico Madrid’s main squad at the age of 18, and helped them win the Europa League and the Super Cup.

After 84 games for the La Liga heavyweights, De Gea joined United for £19 million in 2011.

He went on to make 545 appearances for the Red Devils, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Europa League.

De Gea has 45 caps for Spain, with his last appearance coming in 2020.

After leaving Manchester United in July, he wrote on social media: “I just wanted to give this farewell message to all Manchester United supporters.

“I’d want to offer my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the affection of the past 12 years. We’ve accomplished a lot since my darling Sir Alex Ferguson welcomed me to this club. The former Man Utd star remains without a club after making a new transfer decision

“I felt tremendous pride every time I put on this shirt. To lead the team and represent this institution, the world’s largest club, was an honour conferred only on a few fortunate footballers.

“Now is the time to take on a new challenge and push myself in new circumstances.

“It has been an unforgettable and fruitful period since I arrived here. I never imagined that we would accomplish so much together after leaving Madrid as young boys.

“Manchester will always remain in my heart. Manchester shaped me and will never leave me. “We have seen it all.”
