Converse and Liverpool Football Club have joined forces once again to introduce their second collaborative collection. This new capsule collection combines the rich history of Liverpool FC with the diversity and creativity that represents a new generation of football fans worldwide. Inspired by the club’s iconic colors, architecture, and typeface, the collection features standout pieces such as a limited-edition unisex puffer jacket and the Converse x LFC Chuck 70 high-top sneakers.
The Chuck 70 sneakers incorporate color-blocking and gradient styles, drawing inspiration from LFC’s classic away strips. Complementing the footwear is a cotton jersey Crew adorned with illustrated LFC-inspired graphics, as well as the Converse x LFC Star Player 76.
The campaign for the collection showcases a diverse cast of lifelong Liverpool FC fans who are also creatives in their respective fields. This includes multi-discipline creative Dredz, singer-songwriter Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly, along with Liverpool FC meš’s and wŠ¾meš’s players Darwin Nunez, Missy Bo Kearns, and Taylor Hinds.
Moreover, Sterling, Pixey, and Dredz have actively contributed to the campaign’s creative direction alongside members of Homotopia, a Liverpool-based quŠµŠµr art collective and Converse’s social and community impact partner. Homotopia has been supported by Converse through its investment in the Young Homotopia Creative Skills program in 2023. The campaign also features Homotopia artists and Liverpool fans Olivia Graham, Jess Scott, Margie Houlston, Sian Bennett, Kolade, and DJ Lauren Lo Sung.
The collaborative process between Converse and Liverpool FC embodies a celebration of creativity and diversity within the football world, aiming to connect supporters who aspire to foster a more inclusive and diverse football community. The new Converse x Liverpool FC collection is now available for purchŠ°se through the official Liverpool webstore.
