Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney’s son Kai, 14, follows in dad’s footsteps with an incredible Man Utd academy showcase after signing a deal with U15 Man United

Kai, Wayne Rooney’s son, returned from injury to dominate Manchester United’s Under-14s.

Kai, a forward like his father, has put in some standout performances for the Red Devils’ academy teams, which have piqued supporters’ interest.

Kai Rooney updated followers about his latest match.

The 14-year-old enjoys keeping his vast social media following up to date on his activities.

After a match over the weekend, Kai shared a photo of his Manchester United shirt on the dressing room floor with his 174,000 Instagram followers.

He claimed to have scored twice and assisted on another two in a 6-0 victory over Leeds.

Kai said that the contest was his first after “months away.”

This isn’t the first time the adolescent has sparked fan interest with his youth team exploits.

Last year, he scored in a cup final victory over rival Manchester City.

The next month, supporters compared his chest control technique to that of his iconic father, Manchester United’s and England’s all-time top goalscorer.

Rooney has four sons: Klay, 10, Joseph, seven, and Cass, five. Kai is the eldest of the four.

Kai, the spitting image of his father Wayne, was signed to model for Puma in 2022, despite the fact that his father was a Nike athlete his entire life.

Kai wears Puma boots on the pitch, and he appeared in their back-to-school ad last summer.

He confirmed the news on social media two years ago, writing, “Happy to announce that I have officially signed a contract with Puma.”

“Let’s hope for the best on this journey.”
