Haaland arrived in Austria during the summer of 2018, and Szoboszlai assisted him in acclimating to the new surroundings. The two become intimate. Szoboszlai gave the following response when questioned about this relationship: “We learn from each other, though I have to admit I learned a lot from Haaland, maybe a little more than he learned from me.”

Season 2019–2020 for the two boys:Haaland only played 20 games (half season) and scored 28 goals.In 40 games, Szoboszlai had 12 goals and 11 assists.
