JESSE LINGARD has offered supporters a sneak peek at his new life in South Korea.
The former Manchester United midfielder joined Seoul FC on a free transfer earlier this month.
Lingard signed the K-League side after being seven months without a club after leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer.Lingard has posted a series of photos on Instagram after settling into life in Seoul, South Korea.In his life update, he uploaded a photo of himself happy inside Sangam Stadium while wearing his new Seoul FC shirt.Lingard also shared a photo of himself signing his £17,500 per week deal with the club.His contract, reportedly at £910,000 per year, has made him the highest-paid player in the K-League.Lingard showed off the city skyline and ate some local cuisine with his teammates outside of the stadium.He also shared two photographs of himself in his new training attire, as well as a screenshot from a Facetime call home.Finally, the 31-year-old included a motivational phrase that said, “Becoming the best version of yourself comes with a lot of goodbyes.”Lingard earned a hero’s welcome after completing his surprise move to South Korea earlier this month.He is yet to make his debut for Seoul, with the new K-League season starting on March 1.
