WAYNE ROONEY has left St. Andrews for the beaches of Dubai.

The Manchester United icon was fired as Birmingham’s head coach in early January after winning only two of his 15 games in charge. 

Wayne Rooney was photographed enjoying some winter sun in Dubai, UAE, with an NHL veteran.

Rooney was also sighted in Dubai with Coleen. Rooney was fired from his post at Birmingham earlier this month. Ovechkin has won the NHL MVP Award three timesBut, following a trip to Old Trafford, where he met darts star Luke Littler, Rooney has been pictured enjoying the sun in the United Arab Emirates.Rooney, 38, posted a photo on Instagram during his trip to the country.

While there, the Evertonian was photographed beside National Hockey League legend Alex Ovechkin.Ovechkin, 38, set four league goal-scoring records and won the NHL MVP award three times.The left winger has been with the Washington Capitals since 2005, winning the Stanley Cup in 2018.Rooney, meanwhile, won five Premier League titles, one Champions League, and was crowned Footballer of the Year in 2010.In response to the post, one admirer wrote: “Legend Wazza️.”A second added, “Legend .”A third joked, “Guy looks more like Tom Hardy then Tom Hardy.”Another said, “Two legends!!!”
