The Warriors spent much of Friday’s practice working on the defensive lapses that resulted in their 114-102 loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday night at Chase Centre.
A substantial amount of time was spent attempting to find better shots for Stephen Curry. The two-time NBA MVP had one of his most disappointing оffensive performances of the season, making only three of 15 shots and scoring 13 points while battling Miami’s hounding defense.
Klay Thompson, who only had 13 points against the Heat, said part of the problem was that the Warriors spent too much time standing around on the perimeter rather than moving and creating opportunities.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr agreed.
