DJ Khaled is known for his relentless positivity and lack of regret. He did, however, make one comment about Drake during an interview with Shannon Sharpe.
Khaled said in a recent interview with Sharpe for the Club Shay Shay podcast that the DJ and producer had no idea Drizzy had directly messaged him on MySpace years ago.
He said, “Drake told me a long time ago that he used to hit me on MySpace.” “Plus, I had no idea how to use that MySpace stuff.”
He paused as he reflected on the missed opportunity, saying, “I think to myself, oh my God, if I had the opportunity to sign Drake or work with Drake before Drake became Drake.
However, Khaled clarified that he was glad that The Boy had messaged him previously.
Fat Joe, Drake, and DJ Khaled Celebrate Success During Immaculate Dinner.
“It simply demonstrates his admiration for me as a producer, DJ, and artist,” the man explained. “He felt affection for me through the music I was doing. And given that he is one of the world’s most famous performers, that is very amazing. Just so you know, he was listening to DJ Khaled before his explosion.

During the same Club Shay Shay session, Khaled questioned the importance of engaging experienced financial counselors.
After addressing how his parents stressed in him the importance of working toward his goals and appreciating the money they earn, the 47-year-old producer informed Sharpe that he manages “everything” on his own.
“I don’t believe in accountants, and I don’t believe in money managers,” he said. “I pay the electric bill, the car note, the mortgage, the car washman, the guy who cuts my hair, and the grass.”
“I don’t want to ruin your hustle, all of you gorgeous business managers out there, but I’ve heard a lot of crazy stories, okay?” He stated.
“There is no way in the world that I’m going to give someone the ability to undermine the hard work.” Not at all.
