Ed and Donna Kelce are the delighted parents of two NFL players, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. They created history by being the first parents with two boys to compete in the Super Bowl. In Super Bowl LVII, the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Kansas City Chiefs, with Travis representing the Chiefs and Jason representing the Eagles. Despite the potential for conflict and competition, Donna remarked that Travis and Jason are each other’s biggest admirers, and their brotherly love is replicated throughout the family.

Donna’s stepmother, Mary (commonly known as Grandma Murr), had a tremendous impact on her life. Donna’s mother died, and Mary helped Donna and her younger brother, Don, get back on track. Donna praises Mary with providing her with support and assistance, allowing her to discreetly compete in track and field at the Junior Olympics while in high school. Donna thanked her stepmother for raising her and admitted that they would not have survived without her. Donna was the first in her family to graduate from college and went on to have a successful career in banking thanks to Mary’s constant encouragement.

Ed, like his sons, grew up in Cleveland and was a big fan of football in high school. Despite intending to attend college, Ed felt compelled to serve his country because of his family’s military past. However, he was turned down by the Army because of a pre-existing knee problem. Ed went on to enlist in the Coast Guard, but at boot camp, he realized he had Crohn’s disease, cutting his military career short. He later had a successful career in the steel business, occasionally bringing his boys to work with him to give them an understanding of mill operations.

Donna and Ed’s love tale began when they met just before Donna was scheduled to go on another date. They met at Fagan’s Bar in Old Cleveland Flats and started conversing, but Donna never went to see the other guy. Ed was amazed he won Donna over, given that he had been covered in grime from working at the steel lab all day. Despite his appearance, Donna was smitten, and they spent the night conversing and getting to know one another. Donna was unable to attend her scheduled date due to their close bond.
