The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s contract rejection at Barcelona has sparked speculation that he may quit the club, with Manchester City, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain being mentioned as potential destinations.

Messi has spent his whole career at the Nou Camp and has won numerous trophies as the team’s main player.

Speaking at his recent shoe launch, the 29-year-old insisted that Barcelona is the best squad on the pitch and does not rely exclusively on him.

He stated that Barcelona is the best squad in the world and does not rely solely on a single individual.

Barcelona won a domestic league and cup double for the second time last season, but have struggled in this campaign.

L’Emiriqa’s team is currently trailing La Liga leaders Real Madrid by points.
