‘We used to love you’ – Heartbreak for Man Utd Fans as Cristiano Ronaldo’s Positive Remarks about Man City Emerge

Cristiano Ronaldo’s most recent remarks have devastated Manchester United supporters.

On Friday, the former Red Devils forward spoke highly of their deadly rivals.

Cristiano Ronaldo showered Manchester City’s triple champions with admiration. Though he celebrated Manchester City’s treble victory last season while speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, his remarks have devastated Manchester United supporters.

Ronaldo was a nominee for the ceremony’s best men’s player award.

He clarified, talking about City’s treble, saying, “Manchester City did amazing.” Best wishes for their season. Coach, players. Excellent.

“They finally won the Champions League; they probably deserved it two years ago,” the 38-year-old continued. Observing their play is enjoyable for me.

His remarks, however, crushed United supporters.

On social media, one person replied, writing, “Ugh Ronaldo.” I adored you once. However, Sir Alex is going to hit you with a shoe or something.

Someone else said, “He’s definitely making fun of us.”

“He doesn’t rate United,” a third person added in their remark, along with emoticons of a crying and shattered heart.

Before his stunning comeback to Old Trafford in 2021, Ronaldo was heavily linked to a move to City.

Since then, he has asserted that he was on the verge of joining Manchester United.

During his two stints at United, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner made 346 games, scored 145 goals, and supplied 64 assists.

During his first spell in England, Ronaldo also won ten major trophies, including the Champions League and three league titles.

But in 2022, after he criticized the club in an interview with Piers Morgan, his comeback came to an abrupt end.

In retaliation, United fired the Portugal star right away, and a few weeks later, he signed with Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo played for the Red Devils for two stints, scoring 145 goals.
