Anthony Martial Isolated from Man Utd Squad as Erik ten Hag Seeks to Sell French Outcast

The Daily Mail reports that Anthony Martial has been told to train apart from his Manchester United teammates.

The French striker picked up a sickness bug and hasn’t played since the 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth on December 9.

Anthony Martial has been training apart from Manchester United’s first squad under Erik ten Hag.

According to The Daily Mail, Erik ten Hag is reportedly desperate to sell him before the January transfer window ends, as he has not practiced with the rest of the team since then.

According to rumors, Martial has been told by United’s Dutch manager that he won’t be selected again unless his fitness improves.

As is customary for injured or absent stars, SunSport believes that Martial has been placed on an individual training program to return to match fitness.

The Frenchman has not been told to practice alone, according to Martial’s representative.

When he becomes fit again, there’s no reason to think he won’t be among his teammates.

Ten Hag has been pressed multiple times in recent weeks on Martial’s disappearance, but he has stayed silent about the 28-year-old.

He would only state that the former Monaco star was not well enough to play in Sunday’s stalemate with Tottenham; nonetheless, he is reportedly not injured.

In December, several players, Marcus Rashford among them, contracted an illness.

Since then, the Englishman has resumed playing for the first team, while Martial is still sidelined.

Philippe Lamboley, Martial’s agent, responded to reports that the forward is working out alone by telling Sky Sports that the player “has a hip injury that requires surgery.”

“What was said about him [training alone] is totally untrue,” he declared. He didn’t feel left out of the group, and he gets along well with Erik ten Hag, the coach.

Anthony has spent nine seasons with Manchester United, and he would not have stayed for as long if he weren’t a superb professional.

“He’s just going to have a little procedure on his adductors, which he should have done a while ago and which prevented him from being 100%, so he would do it now.”Major Man Utd frustration as outcast digs heels in by rejecting moves to three different leagues

Regarding Martial’s future at Manchester United, Lamboley stated that he has no intention of leaving the team during the January transfer window.

“Anthony will not leave until his contract ends in June,” he declared.

After nine seasons with the team, Martial will become a free agent in the summer.

Over the last three and a half seasons, Martial has only scored 12 goals in the Premier League, including one this season, and it appears that United has finally had enough of him.
