Gisele Bündchen is being up about her challenges as a parent after divorcing 46-year-old NFL star Tom Brady in 2022.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar for her covergirl feature in the February 2024 Joy Issue, the forty-three-year-old supermodel acknowledged the difficulties of being a single mother.

After 14 years of marriage, Gisele and Tom had a 14-year-old son named Benjamin and an 11-year-old daughter named Vivian.

She mentioned that there is occasionally friction between her and their children since she and Tom parent in “two different ways.”

Gisele admitted, “I get pushback sometimes, especially since they’re in two different homes now and there’s two different ways.”

However, I feel that because of what my mother taught me, I owe it to my children. 

One of the maxims she tries to inculcate in her children is, “The way you make your room, the way you organize and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life.” ‘When and with whom will you study if not right now?’

Given that she was stepmother to Brady’s 16-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with his 52-year-old ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, the Brazilian beauty has actually been a mother of three for a long time.

The renowned model and businesswoman wants to make sure that Benny and Vivi, who are both well into their adolescent years, have all they need to excel in both their personal and professional life.

Regardless of what is written or said about her, she has also taken care to ensure that the divorce has not diminished the pride she has felt in having contributed to the creation of their mixed family.

She explains, “It’s none of my business what other people say about me, so I can’t really worry about it.” They’re really attempting to project their business onto me. I will never live my truth if that would have an impact on me.  

She was inspired to write by witnessing her own parents struggle with health concerns as they aged. 

“I want to feel the best I can for as long as I can, but in order to do so, I have to make decisions today,” Bündchen declares. “All the money in the world is yours to possess.” You cannot purchase your health back if you no longer have it.

The renowned model was named by Forbes as the highest-paid model worldwide from 2002 to 2016, demonstrating her continued appeal.
