After keeping his car outside a train station for an extended period, LUKE SHAW accumulated £240 in parking fines.
The black Lamborghini Urus belonging to the Manchester United player was parked outside the Wilmslow train station in Cheshire.
Parking citations were issued for Luke Shaw’s Lamborghini Urus, which was left outside the Wilmslow train station. Ticket wardens placed four £60 fines on the windscreen of the £180,000 car. Since before Christmas, Luke Shaw has not appeared for Manchester United.16.1.24…Luke Shaw of Manchester United received three £60 parking penalties on his £180,000 Lamborghini Urus 4×4 as of Monday afternoon when he left it in the Wilmslow Train Station parking lot. However, images revealed that Shaw’s £180,000 car had four £60 citations slapped on its windscreen.
Shaw has already been spotted taking the vehicle to Man Utd’s Carrington training facility.
The 28-year-old is not the only Manchester United player to receive parking citations in 2019.
Parking fines have also been a source of frustration for Red Devils star Marcus Rashford, who has rebounded from a sluggish start to the season to score two goals and provide two assists in his last four games.
The 26-year-old received a £60 charge last week for parking his £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail on double yellow lines.
It happened while he was having lunch at Juniper Restaurant in Wilmslow with Man Utd teammate Tyrell Malacia.
But since Shaw makes £150,000 a week and Rashford makes £300,000, they probably won’t be too concerned about the fines they received.
Since well before Christmas, Shaw has not made an appearance in the Premier League.
The left-back was scheduled to play in Man Utd’s match against Tottenham on Sunday, but he had a setback that prompted Aaron Wan-Bissaka to play left-back, a position he was not used to playing.
Shaw was expected to play, according to squad preparations disclosed by manager Erik ten Hag.
“We trained with Luke Shaw in preparation for this game, and we expected him,” the Dutchman stated. “But this morning, he dropped out, not fit enough to start.”
The fourth round of the FA Cup will see Man Utd play Newport County on January 28. On February 1, they will travel to Wolves.
