David Njoku Makes a Bold Investment: Uses Years of Saved Salary to Purchase Midcentury Miami Mansion for Post-Match Recovery

The fashionable Miami, Florida home of Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is listed for $3.3 million, a substantial rise from the $1.6 million he bought for it in 2020. Njoku is selling this architectural treasure after agreeing to a hefty four-year, $56 million contract extension with the Browns.

The listing refers to the 1962-built home as a “one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece.” Covering 4,771 square feet, the house has four bathrooms and six bedrooms. The interior of the house has tasteful details including vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces, and marble floors.

The living area, which has built-ins and a fireplace, and the backyard are effortlessly connected thanks to the open floor design. Brightly lit by pendant lights, the gourmet kitchen with its large island and built-in breakfast bar is next to the dining room.

The main suite, with its own private terrace, spa-like bathroom, and boutique-style wardrobes, is located on the second level. The bedroom is notable for having a striking mural on one wall.

The property, which occupies a third of an acre, features tropical landscaping, a heated pool that is elongated, and a spa that complements its modern white facade. Included in the package is a single-car garage.

Situated in North Miami Beach’s Skylake neighborhood, the home offers easy access to restaurants and retail establishments. Njoku, a native of New Jersey, rose to prominence in college at the University of Miami before declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft at the age of 20.

Njoku, who was selected by the Browns in the first round of that year’s draft, has grown to be a well-known player in the NFL with five seasons under his belt and over 1,700 yards receiving. His position as one of the highest-paid tight ends in the game is cemented by his recent contract extension.
