She continued by explaining that for children to understand that Rooney was a football player, Cass, her five-year-old son, had to bring in an old Match Attax card.
Coleen stated on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast: “It goes without saying that being in the public eye makes you the target of questions and requests for your opinion at events and parties.
“Kids, they’re clueless.”

Many people rank Rooney as one of the best players to have ever played for England.
After joining Manchester United, Rooney was once the most expensive teenager in the world. With 253 goals, he went on to become the club’s all-time top scorer and a legend.
Up until this year, the forward—who has the most caps of any outfield player for his country—held the record for the most goals scored by England, with 53.
However, he left the Premier League in 2018 to play in the US.
And after just two wins in 15 games as Birmingham’s Blues boss, he grabbed headlines on Tuesday for all the wrong reasons.
The Championship squad was ranked sixth when he assumed leadership, but they are currently ranked twenty-first, just six points above the relegation zone.
