It’s anticipated that the Nike Air Max Plus will have a huge year as a number of the original colorways of the iconic runner will soon be available again. Furthermore, if these pictures are any indication, the company appears to be launching Mercurial cleats that are modeled after the Air Max Plus this year.
Nike endorser Kylian Mbappé, a top forward for Paris Saint-Germain, was spotted at Campus PSG earlier today sporting an unannounced Nike Mercurial colorway that was inspired by the “Voltage Purple” Air Max Plus. The cleats have the same one-piece upper as its running version, and the heel is imprinted with the “ZM Plus” badge.
Nike looks to be releasing an Air Force 1-themed Tiempo soon in addition to this Air Max Plus-inspired Mercurial, as leaked photos of the cleat were posted on Instagram by @Kicksdong.
As of this writing, Nike has not yet disclosed the release date for this Mercurial sneaker, which is reminiscent of the Air Max Plus. Stay tuned for further developments.
