Luka Doncic’s amazing journey from Europe to the NBA has been accompanied by ANAMARIA GOLTES.
The attractive 25-year-old Slovenian model and fashion influencer has a large internet following.
Goltes grew up in the little village of Zagorje ob Savi in central Slovenia.
Her mother, Maja Bec Goltes, studied law, and her father, Matjaz, graduated from the University of Ljubljana.
Goltes, who is five feet ten inches tall, used to be a dancer and competed professionally for nearly a decade.
During a pandemic Q&A, she affirmed that she now devotes her time to being a “model, entrepreneur, influencer, and student.”
Her 163k Instagram followers, meanwhile, benefit from regular fitness updates and recommendations.
“I fell in love with movement and being active at a very young age,” Anamaria says on her website.
“Growing up I always enjoyed going to the gym and working out, and now I love motivating people to put their health first and teach them that working out can be fun too.”
Gultes first met future NBA sensation Doncic when they were both 12 years old.
And she has told how they first became friends on a vacation to Croatia before starting to date in 2016.
“I’ve answered this question a million times,” she explained.
“We met at the seaside in Croatia when we were 12 years old.
“Fun fact: We still have the same group of friends from back then.”
“You keep the real ones, am I right?”
The couple currently lives in Dallas with their three dogs, Luka, Hugo, and Gia, which Goltes says “reminds her of home.”
And they celebrated this week after he got down on one knee and proposed to her.
Fans frequently bombard her with nice messages and praises in response to her glamorous NBA lifestyle photos.
One commented on a recent photo, “Simply gorgeous as always.”
Another person commented, “Hey, stop distracting me from the game.”
“The queen of the NBA!!!” said a third.
Since joining the NBA in 2018, Doncic has established himself as one of the league’s top young players.
He has been chosen an All-Star in each of the last three seasons despite being only 23 years old.
Doncic created history on December 27 when he became the first player in NBA history to post a 60-point triple-double.
He annihilated the New York Knicks in overtime, scoring 60 points, collecting 21 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists.
