The 38-year-old former striker for Juventus, Real Madrid, and Manchester United made the extravagant purchase to commemorate her 69th birthday.

After Ronaldo’s son Cristiano Jr. gifted her a brand-new Porsche Cayenne, she broke down in tears of happiness.

Yesterday, on her birthday, the five-time Ballon D’Or winner took a midnight flight from Saudi Arabia to Madeira.

His sister Katia Aveiro posted a number of pictures to social media as he gave Maria the amazing motor.

Not only did it surprise his mother, but the entire group was taken aback.

Along with the video, Katia posted a note on Instagram that read, “If she is happy, it is because her son remembers her and not because of the gift’s value.”

“If you treat your parents with respect, you will have a long life on Earth.”

At the moment, Ronaldo is taking a winter vacation from football.

He won’t play for Al Nassr again in the Saudi Pro League until the first of February.

In the AFC Champions League, they will play Al Feiha next.

Ronaldo’s January arrival to the Middle East team marked the beginning of a wave of high-profile signings from Gulf State clubs.

And on December 30, in Al Nassr’s last Saudi Pro League game against Al-Taawoun, he scored to cap off another year.
