Ronaldo scored 44 goals for Al Nassr and 10 for the Portuguese side out of the 54 total. The 38-year-old scored 34 goals in the Saudi Arabian national championship, one in the King’s Cup, six in the Saudi Club Championship, and three in the AFC Champions League.
This is the fifth time Ronaldo has finished #1 in the world in goals scored in a calendar year. The preceding years were 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015. In 2016, Ronaldo’s best statistics were 55 goals.

Ronaldo leads the top scorer’s list after 19 rounds in the Saudi Arabian National Championship with 20 goals, three more than Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic. In addition, with 9 assists, Ronaldo ranked top on the leaderboard. Allan Saint-Maximin (Al Ahli), Alvaro Medran (Al Taawon), and Mourad Batna (Al Wahda) followed with the same number of assists.
Al Nassr won their fourth consecutive match, 3 points against Al Taawoun, and firmly retained second place, 6 points ahead of Al Ahli. They are 7 points behind the leading squad, Al Hilal.
