Taylor Swift’s affair with Travis Kelce evokes comparisons to Yoko Ono amid another Chiefs loss.
Despite having an entire locker room of males to select from, they continue to blame the woman in the stands.
The Kansas City Chiefs have been chastised after losing five of their last eight games. Instead of focusing on the players’ on-field performance, many NFL fans and journalists have turned their attention to Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Following the team’s heartbreaking loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, many outraged fans rushed to Twitter to vent, comparing the 12-time Grammy winner to Yoko Ono, who was notoriously blamed for breaking up the Beatles after marrying John Lennon.
One user wrote, “Taylor Swift is Yoko Ono-ing the Chiefs,” while another added, “Taylor is the Yoko of the Chiefs.”

“Who would have guessed that Taylor Swift and Yoko Ono have something in common?” A third person inquired, while a fourth simply answered, “Taylor Swift = Yoko Ono.”
“Taylor ‘Yoko’ Swift annihilated the Kansas City Chiefs.” “They’ll be back to Todd Haley’s days soon,” a fourth individual wrote.
Even a few Fox Sports 1 analysts searched for fault outside of the Kansas City Chiefs organisation.
“Feels like it’s about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction,” Skip Bayless tweeted following the game. “What are your thoughts, Patrick [Mahomes]?” Reid, Andy? Travis, how about you?”

During Tuesday’s recording of the show, Craig Carton also alluded to the tight end’s infatuation with the pop artist, questioning whether Kelce, 34, is “distracted” by the “very public” relationship.
“Everyone knows what it’s like at some point to fall in love and have that be the main focus of everything and maybe you lose sight of the other stuff because you have this great new relationship,” he went on to say.
