ALEJANDRO GARNACHO was the star of the match as Manchester United came from behind to beat Aston Villa.
Villa took the lead at Old Trafford in the 21st minute of the match thanks to a never-before-seen free-kick strategy, overcoming the ineffective Andre Onana.
Alejandro Garnacho scored twice for Manchester United.
The goal failed to wake United up as Villa quickly doubled their advantage five minutes later following Leander Dendoncker’s goal.
Alejandro Garnacho scored twice after half-time as he starred for the Red Devils in their comeback.
Rasmus Hojlund finished off a Premier League success when he scored the winning goal in the 81st minute.
We’ve got his assessment of Manchester United players.
Andre Onana – 3
Didn’t pick up John McGinn’s pass to score the first goal and didn’t look too confident throughout. Bought to distribute to him, but that was also poor. Really not good.
Aaron Wan Bissaka – 5
Look calm and composed on the ball.
Defended well when needed, but still lacked the forward threat that is needed in a modern full-back.
Jonny Evans – 5
Wasn’t good enough at all in the first half, but turned things around in the second, including a superb clearance on the line to deny John McGinn a second goal.
Raphael Varane – 5
He wasn’t focused today and wasn’t the commanding presence we knew he could be against Liverpool.
Played better in the second half, but still not at his best.
Diego Dalot – 6
Made some nice and seemingly creative passes from defense for United, but didn’t really impact the game too much, with Leon Bailey on the right causing problems.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6
Showed some good moments of resistance, as well as some good movement and passing. Another good performance from the young man.
Christian Eriksen – 5
Seemed to constantly make the wrong decisions in the first half, which can be said for most of the Man Utd players out there.
Can’t be a threat in attack and doesn’t really contribute to defense either.
Bruno Fernandes – 7
During the match, he complained a lot and took a stupid free kick that led to John McGinn’s opening goal.
Performed well in the second half, creating a good set-piece for Hojlund’s winning goal and assisting Garnacho’s second goal. Some really good passes were evident.
Alejandro Garnacho – 8
Looked positive throughout the match and deserved a double. Two accurate shots and the best player on the field for Man Utd today.
Constantly causing problems for Villa’s defense.
Marcus Rashford – 7
Looked dangerous in both halves with a few shots on target and some good movement, failed to execute on a number of occasions, but delivered a great cross for the first attack by Garnacho.
Rasmus Hojlund – 5
He looked a meter out of step and as if he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders until the second half started.
His winning goal would have boosted his confidence a lot and was taken well with his left foot.

Antony – 5 (For Marcus Rashford, 80′)
Didn’t really impact the match after coming on for Rashford, but not too bad.
Scott McTominay – 5 (81′)
There’s not much time to make a real impact, work hard as usual and make an important save.
Willy Kambwala – 5 (For Rasmus Hojlund, 89′)
The game went well for United, but there weren’t many minutes to influence the game too much.
Dan Gore – 5 (For Christian Eriksen, 90+5′)
There isn’t enough time to impact the game.
Hannibal Mejbri – 5 (For Alejandro Garnacho, 90+5)
There isn’t enough time to impact the game.
