Conor McGregor  ‘s animated chat screen with Cristiano Ronaldo  at the Day of Reckoning event has gone viral on social networks.

The two sports stars were spotted sitting next to each other in the ring at an event in Saudi Arabia, with McGregor in deep conversation with the Portuguese icon. 

However, during their exchange, it appeared the Irishman had a lot more to bring to the party and it didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

When McGregor chewed the ear of striker  Al-Nassr  , a fan posted on X (  Twitter  ). ‘Never seen him this upset before.’

 

Other fans were left shocked as they posted video of the conversation, joking about how   uncomfortable the former Man United star looked.

While another quipped “Cristiano was like ‘When is this guy going to shut up’. 

One observer even questioned whether the former Man Utd ace could understand what McGregor was saying through his thick Irish accent; ‘Ronaldo doesn’t understand what Conor McGregor is saying’

Another tweet, found it interesting that, no matter how famous you are, you can still be awkwardly cornered by someone you don’t want to be.

They posted; ‘It’s funny, almost reassuring, to see how no amount of fame or wealth can protect you from being cornered by a gremlin sesh

 

Perhaps the best comparison comes from another user, who shared an image of the two stars chatting to the famous social media scene of a young man trying to chat with a girl who looks bored in night club.

The user placed the two photos side by side with the caption ‘similar energy’.

Ronaldo doesn’t seem to have much luck with the people with him at the Kingdom Arena.

Earlier in the evening, Frank Warren took up a spot alongside the 38-year-old and cheekily told his Queensbury Promotions social feed that Ronaldo was ‘signing for Arsenal’.

 

A request was quickly rejected by the Portuguese, who laughed at Warren’s offer.
