Dominik Szoboszlai demonstrated his amazing goal-scoring skills once more, scoring his fourth goal for Liverpool in their EFL Cup quarter-final clаsh with West Ham at Anfield. The Hungarian midfielder received the ball around 30 yards from goal and fired a fantastic low strike that swirled in the air, past West Ham keeper Alphonse Areоla.

This was not Szoboszlai’s first long-distance goal in the competition. He had earlier scored a similar goal in Liverpool’s previous round 3-1 triumph over Leicester City. Szoboszlai’s incredible skill prompted similarities to Cristiano Ronaldo, as former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher noted during his Sky Sports analysis.
Liverpool went on to win the match 5-1 over West Ham. Curtis Jones scored two goals, and Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah also scored. Jarrod Bowen of West Ham scored a consolation goal for his team.
With this victory, Liverpool advanced to the EFL Cup semi-finals, where they will face Fulham. The victor of that two-leg contest will then face either Chelsea or Middlesbrough in the final on February 25.
