Liverpool will go into their clаsh with Manchester United without any new ιnjury concerns. However, Jurgen Klopp will be missing at least six players for the match. 

Defender Joel Matip is beginning his road to recovery after undergoing surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament ιnjury suffered in December’s 4-3 victory over Fulham. In their recent Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise, Liverpool made nine changes to the squad, resting key players such as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Alisson Becker. 

This provided opportunities for Kirkby Academy graduates and some senior players like Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo, and Harvey Elliott. Although Liverpool suffered a 2-1 defeat, they came through the match without any new injuries. Klopp will have options available apart from the returning players and long-term absentees. On the Manchester United side, manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire will not be available for the match against Liverpool.

However, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw could be in contention. Maguire sustained a groin ιnjury during the midweek game against Bayern Munich, while Shaw was also substituted at halftime but appears to have avoided a major problem.
